Seafarers

Inspired by childhood sailing and fishing trips, Seafarers by Joker and the Thief mark the start of a new era of playing card design for the brand. 

Reminiscent of vintage United States Playing Card Company decks, Seafarers feature a classic, timeless design that strikes a balance between Joker and the Thief's signature style and subtle, understated aesthetics. Six months in the making, this is a deck writhing with symbolism from the darkest depths and the furthest oceanic horizons. 

Housed within a stunningly intricate, internally and externally printed tuck box, expertly produced in California, Seafarers playing cards are illustrated by hand and designed completely from scratch. Court cards are unrestricted by borders and adopt individual and distinctive characteristics, thanks to a completely custom design, which includes nautical themes transcending from the card backs. 

Designed by Gustavo Magalhaes and printed by The United States Playing Card Company on proprietary crushed-stock using environmentally safe ink on sustainably sourced paper.
