It began with a painting. One that was photographed and then mirrored four times to create a deck of cards that will never be reprinted and that takes you on a journey into the mind of an artist - a true reflection of self.
Scattered throughout Untitled V2 by Adam Borderline are a variety of hidden meanings that relate to the topics of reflection and art. The cards are mostly standard in appearance but court cards have been recoloured to fit a red, yellow and black theme. The hearts suit sees an individual pip replaced on spot cards for one that resembles the back design - leaving the heart's court cards unaltered to reflect an untouchable monarchy.
The Ace of Spades has been enlarged and incorporates the back design, with faint Untitled branding. Included is a double backer and ad-card sporting Adam Borderline's logo.
Printed by The United States Playing Card Co. on their Premium Crushed Stock - the cards are traditionally cut and were limited in print to just 2,500.
